Why dont doctors offices use email more? Why the hell would you complicate matters by REQUIRING patients to play phone tag. I call when its convenient for me, but all I can do is leave a message and I inevitably get the call back when I cant even answer the phone (like in the middle of therapy with Cole or while Autumn is screaming at the top of her lungs) and they leave a message and the cycle continues. Why cant I schedule appointments by email? Why cant I request refills by email? Why cant I email general questions? You can field them however you want to and have whoever get back to me, I dont care just as long as I dont have to spend an effing week trying to make a damn appointment. ALSO, when I do answer the phone at a time when Im distracted and I have to make an appointment while driving or shopping and cant write it down (its either that or 3 more days of phone tag) then I am likely to show up at the wrong time/day. I have ADHD and I WILL get mixed up. I am not making excuses, I am trying to manage it by requesting that you email me. If you refuse to do so and I forget you had better not charge me for a missed appointment!!!! ESPECIALLY if your a freaking psychiatrist!!
