Why in Gods name would POTUS reveal such a catastrophic failure on the part of our intelligence and special forces? While there were no crashed planes, helicopters and charred bodies this time around, the hostage rescue failure in 1979 became the effective end of Jimmy Carters presidency, and the iconic image of his weakness as Commander-in-Chief. This admission by Obama is his Iranian Desert moment, the culmination of his failed policies with the grandsons of those muslim extremists who defeated Carter. Its all over for Obama now. He couldnt lead a duck into water, and hes just confirmed that for the entire world. He has defined himself by the most ignominious policies and behaviors imaginable, and has done so at every turn. Hes finished, and this admission is the final nail in his legacys coffin. The only question remaining is how we define ourselves? Are we Obama?
