Why is it so hard to see the silver lining, or the see the blue sky after the storm or to keep our eye on the prize? As the scriptures say...1 Corinthians 2:9, Paul quotes from the book of Isaiah. No one has EVER seen! No one has EVER heard! No one has EVER imagined! Its never easy to see what God has planned for us. We so often get caught up in our own plans, our own goals and our own wants out of this life. We forget to calm down and focus on the true importance of life. We stress out over things that are out of our control and try to change our futures without Gods help. No wonder we cant see past the pain or hurt. No wonder the fear of taking a chance overwhelms us and brings us to our breaking point. We are not prepared for what God has in store for us! This morning I challenge myself to let go and let God decide what is in store for me. I know Im not done hurting or being disappointed. I know Im not ready to find my own way. Im not ready to see, hear or even imagine what wonderful things are planned for me. Im too busy focusing on me and mine. Time to focus on His and Him! I cant wait it see what He has in store for you too!
