Why is it that people in their chosen field always excel at doing a good & timely job for others, but fail to do the same things at home? Is it because they are being paid? Perfect example is Cas. His big thing when he worked as an engineer was to preach & practice preventive maintenance. Today I told him that my not so old faucet in my bathroom had a drip, drip, drip, about every 6 seconds. He looked at it & then said, keep an eye on it & if it gets worse then Ill take a look at it. I guess when you retire that your lifelong practice of preaching to fix things before they get worse just goes out the window? God love him, these days he is always going to get round to it, sooner or later. Usually much later.
