Why order when you can cook your very own MAGIC Palabok! :) Alamin kung paano lutuin itong classic Pinoy handaan dish with this recipe! MAGIC PALABOK INGREDIENTS: Sauce: ½ kg shrimp, peeled, deveined and reserve shells 4 sachets 8g MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® 2 tbsp vegetable oil 5 cups water ¼ cup vegetable oil 1 head garlic, minced 1 pc large onion, minced ½ cup ground rice 1 tbsp annatto seeds with lye, soaked in ¼ cup hot water for 5 minutes and strain ¼ cup fish sauce ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper Noodles: ½ kg pansit luglog, soaked in water for 30 minutes and drained Toppings: ½ cup shredded tinapa flakes, toasted ½ cup crushed chicharon 2 tbsp toasted garlic 2 tbsp sliced spring onion 3 pcs egg, hard cooked and cut into wedges 15 pcs calamansi, sliced Cooking Procedure: 1. For the sauce, heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pot. Sauté shells for 1 minute. Pour water and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and set aside. 2. Meanwhile, season shrimp with ½ sachet of MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a wok, sauté shrimp and set aside. Pour the remaining oil in the same wok and add garlic. Sauté until golden brown. Add onion and continue to cook for 1 minute. Add ground rice and cook for another minute. Whisk in prepare shrimp stock and simmer for 15 minutes. Pour annatto water. Season with 3 ½ sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®, fish sauce and pepper. Set aside. 3. Boil water in a pot and cook noodles. Drain and toss with the sauce. 4. Transfer into a serving plate and top with sautéed shrimp, tinapa, chicharon, toasted garlic, spring onion and egg. Serve with calamansi.
