Will YOU join me in fasting and prayer into 2014? To be clear, the only reason why I disclosed my fasting is not for the approval of man or for likes. If that were the case I would have jumped on Facebook on the 1st of December to say I was fasting. While choosing to deactivate Facebook at midnight tonight I decided to disclose my intention in order to encourage others. I am hoping that others will decide to fast and pray into the new year as well. It is my hearts intentions to get people to have a better connection with the Holy Spirit as I try to do so myself. Funny thing is I almost wrote in the original post I am not telling you all about my fast to look holy, but to encourage you to fast with me but I thank the family friend that wanted to make sure I knew not to seek the approval of man while I fasted. :) I started the fast because a friend that was praying with me happened to tell me she was doing a 31 day fast and why she was doing it...so I was hoping to encourage someone else like I was encouraged.
