Will it ever heal? I think the power of the Christmas story in terms of the difference between the accounts of Jesus and other religious leaders, is the emphasis on healing. Whether it is the wounds of crime, accident, war, illness, injustice, or psychological brutality, it seems that all should be able to heal. I think this is the core to the question of proof. We could care less about math or evidence, it is more the healing that is important. Of course, the ultimate wound is death. So the ultimate proof is to rise from death. This mythical quest of healing underlies the sensing of a possible good universe.
