Will we be judged by future generations on how we treated our - TopicsExpress

Will we be judged by future generations on how we treated our people in this time slot? Are we the last period of a suppressive agenda, or the first of a more open and fairly treated populace? We see the Right Wing in America trying to turn back the clock in social evolution. So in Michigan they passed a religious discrimination act that makes it possible for anyone to turn down services to those they feel are sinful. That means Gays, Islamic people, homeless, drunks, drug users, other races, so on, can be refused service even at a hospital. This is the right to discriminate against anyone, you feel like discriminating against. And that stands in opposition to every civil law we have ever created to make the USA a more open place. Some court will call this unconstitutional, but the right will keep trying to create Hate Laws, like this. Arizona tried it, but was vetoed by the Governor. Internationally we see the suppression and isolation of Palestine, and its not getting any better. Syria is a human catastrophe, and many lives lost or left homeless. Isil kills and rapes its way to power, Boko Harum kills kidnaps and rapes its way to controls. We are surrounded by Christian and Islamic moves towards Theocracy, and Iran Saudi Arabia and others, are practicing theocratic laws, and they behead and kill non believers. Is this progress for humanity? Our generation has lost its social standards, and has reduced the love and equality that once we strove so hard for, at least in the West. And now our humanity is being challenged by ignorance and superstition, just like we were led into the Dark ages, by superstition and ignorance. Mankind has a cruel side, a mean side, a anti human and anti life side, and its all held firmly in the grasp of so called Religion... Imagine no religion, its easy if you try.... John Lennon
