Will you be a Weapon of Mass Consumption this Christmas? Do you think its crazy the way were encouraged to buy more and more stuff? I love giving and receiving gifts as much as the next person but I particularly love giving gifts with meaning or gifts that are experiences, not just more stuff. Were getting our little girl a second hand wooden dolls house from Gumtree and I know shell be over the moon about it! Feels so much better to buy something second hand than consume more and more resources to create more stuff (so much of which cant be recycled) that will eventually end up in landfill. We can all make a difference by thinking about how we spend our money and what will eventually become of what we buy.
