Will you support a woman who has been trafficked receive essential counselling? She has been diagnosed with symptoms of PTSD and has been offered free counselling from a specialist provider. Unfortunately she has been unable to begin these sessions due to the lack of childcare. The Poppy Project has managed to find her affordable and appropriate childcare but we have not found funding. Each three hour session only costs £24 and we are looking to raise enough money for at least three sessions (£72). This will give us some more time to find funding for the rest of her counselling. We have very little time however, as if she doesn’t begin this Friday then she will lose her place. This is a huge hurdle in her road to recovery so please donate any amount you can.
