Will your very best friend have to sacrifice their life, just to buy the largest Scoreboard in the World for the Jaguars? Yes, Animal Care and Protective Services will have to abandon their no kill program due to proposed budget cuts. While at the same time the city is spending $43 million dollars for a new Scoreboard for the Jaguars. When you see that new Scoreboard, and look down and see the adoring eyes of Fido, Kitty or even Tweedy, Just say, “It was necessary” or come down to City Hall at 5 PM on August 13 and tell the City Council and Mayor that “it is not necessary”.
