Winter-related diseases: Children suffering from Diarrhoea, Pneumonia The temperature has dropped unexpectedly throughout the country, but the drop has been the greatest in northern districts. Incidents of winter-related ailments have also increased. Children are suffering even more now from shortness of breath, diarrhea, pneumonia and other diseases. The problem is aggravated further in poorer communities, by a lack of warm clothing and of proper housing.
