Wish I had better update to post but unfortunately I dont yet. Colton had another very bad afternoon and evening yesterday. He continues to run high fevers and be in extremely severe pain. They had to increase his pain meds and even give him doses of morphine to control breakthrough pain... :( its heartbreaking to say the least. He also continues to have diarrhea almost every diaper. He has horrible stomach cramps also. They changed his caps again last night and did more blood cultures. Were waiting to hear any news on what could be causing the fevers and diarrhea. In the meantime his ANC continues to be at 0 for the past several days including today... This is not good and is making it hard for him to fight off whatever is going on to cause fevers. He is still in isolation and beginning to really feel frustrated and at times is inconsolable. He wakes up all throughout the night crying and screaming owww!!!! And mommy!!! I pray and comfort him to the best of my abilities ....when he is so sick and in pain and weak and theres just nothing I can humanly do or as his mother to make it better .... . I hold tight to my faith, I keep Praying for strength and wisdom to be his ROCK, to extend patience, love and support while he is too weak to fight .... I hope and pray and still believe God is in control.... But seeing your baby suffer like this is well... There are no words. If only I could take it away.... We need you Lord... Please comfort him and please hold him and love him ..., please heal him.
