Wish some of you were able to go shopping with me yesterday. We took forty boys shopping at Wal Mart and all I could handle was three. They were a handful. They were so excited. They had $200.00 each to purchase clothes. Of course what I liked, they didnt like and it brought back memories trying to shop with my children. After shopping, we took them back to the Lions Hall to wrap their gifts and Shoneys furnished the food. Fried chicken, green beans, creamed potatoes with gravy, mac & cheese, and sweet tea along with corn bread and rolls. Litton alumni this would not have been possible without your help. We made a photo with the boys in front of the Christmas tree and it will be posted on face book soon. You will get to see some of their faces and know why I have grown to love these children. One came up to me and said I didnt have anyone until you came along. I thank God every day that he sent me to these children. Yes, I think God had a hand in this and he knew these children needed the Litton alumni and the Lions Hall to call home.
