With Troys recent concerning behavior and comments, Tom and I decided that it would be nice for Tom to have one-on-one time with him. So, it was decided that they would go to see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. (Although Ive never let him watch an episode of the show, he loves them.) I KNEW Troy would be very excited, and Tom and I held the secret until just a bit ago because we were afraid the excitement would lead him to obsession all day. We were wrong. We finally told him about our plan while he was eating lunch. He said hed rather stay home and watch Pokemon, his current obsession. It feels a bit weird to forbid him to stay home and watch Pokemon on TV and force him to go to watch some sewer animals on a giant TV screen. Still, thats what were doing. Hes having male bonding time whether he likes it or not. This whole parenting thing can get a bit weird some times.
