With all due respect to the parents I know, I dont see whats so ridiculous about this. First, owners have the moral right to decide whom they will and will not serve. Second, if Im taking a woman to dinner, especially for a special occasion, Im more likely to take her to a place where I go there wont be any screaming kids interrupting my evening. Not all parents are as good as the ones on my Friends list! Actually, as I recall, a restaurant just east of Pittsburgh did something similar a few years ago, and it became very popular as a result.
