With due respect to the other South West Governors, let me expressly say that the only one that truly deserve the standing ovation of the Nigerian Students among them is Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State. History would always remember Ogbeni Aregbesola as the only South West Governor in 4th Republic that got the insignia of power and reduced tuition fee of his state varsity without being forced and ordered. UNIOSUN was established by Prince Oyinlola in 2007. Sadly, the cheapest course in the UNIOSUN of Oyinlola was N180,000. Pathetically, some courses goes for N300, 000 in UNIOSUN during Oyinlolas reign. However, today, no course in UNIOSUN is more than N130, 000. Aregbesola ordered for the reduction of the tuition fee of UNIOSUN by 50% within 6 months Justice Salami declared him the validly elected Governor of Osun State in November 2010.
