With every interview I see, I become prouder of her. She is a passionate attorney who practices primarily family law and has done so for almost 10 years. She is following her dreams even though she didnt come from a family of politicians. Her daddy was an electrician. Her mom a home maker. Her husband is a mechanic at her uncles automotive shop (a small business here in Ponchatoula). She worked for everything she has ever gotten and that is no different with this race. During the week when she isnt at her law office, she can be found at various meet and greets, chamber after hour events, dropping off her son in carpool line or picking him up, at her sons soccer practice or games, in court fighting for the best interest of the kids (products of what are now broken relationships), canvassing neighborhoods during the week on her lunch break and the weekends as well, Friday night football games, and basically wherever she can get the opportunity to meet new people, introduce herself to them, and personally ask them for their vote. If you havent researched the candidates, please do so now. She is running for FAMILY COURT JUDGE. Please vote Jenel Guidry Secrease #63 on November 4th. If you cant vote then, early voting starts Tuesday, October 21st and goes through the 28th. If you need transportation, let me know and Ill take you.
