With more than 40 years of service in the Virginia Community College System, it will truly be the end of an era when Dr. Charlie White retires from Wytheville Community College in June 2015. He has served as President of WCC since 2006. His lengthy history with the VCCS includes many years at New River. He began at NRCC as a faculty member in 1971, went on to chair the Division of Arts and Sciences and then became the Vice President for Instruction and Student Services in 2000. NRCC wishes Dr. White a wonderful retirement!
