With the horrible death of that sweet four year old today there have been so many post about pit bulls. Its sad we still havent gotten past breed specific prejudices. If a human had killed that little girl, and lets say he is hmmmm Italian, do you then generalize all Italians as child murderers. I think not. We would blame that persons childhood, or their environment, or maybe they were high. However; we would never ever blame their breed, thats just wrong...right. Obviously this dog had a past that made him snap, not his genetics. Pets are becoming more and more members of our families, and to the people that treat them as such they are human like and love and are loved immensely. As a family member to numerous(currently 7) rescue dogs I felt the need to respond to this Facebook outcry. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that, however dont force your opinions on others. Realize there is always more to a story then whats presented.
