With this cooler weather we are starting to have, some plants have died back, or are dying back. The tomato plants are still blooming though, and have several tomatos not ripe on the vine yet. Checked the asparagus, and it has a LOT of new shoots coming up, so next year we should have a pretty good crop of them. The bell peppers have several blooms on them, but I doubt any of them will be ripe before it gets really cold. The pimento peppers are still producing, but wilting a bit on the leaves. All the herbs are still going strong. Fig tree is still putting out a few figs. Leaves are falling off the trees like crazy, and Im mulching them as fast as I can get them raked up. Ill make a pile of them in a corner of the yard to use all during the summer next year also.
