Without getting too deeply sentimental or personal, I find that theres not much I can write on here thats hasnt been already beautifully expressed by so many in the last few days. I will say that Pete Perrone was the reluctant savior of the Buffalo Underground Music Scene. Who would think that a dyed in the wool conservative who was unafraid to speak his mind would not only tolerate us freaks and weirdos but also lovingly embrace us as well? Many have used the term father figure to describe him and that is very true. His guidance, insight and loving nature was always comforting and I dearly miss that. Naturally, I am saddened that I didnt get to have that last conversation with him and to thank him for being such a big part of my life. Although he will be truly missed, I can assure you that this evening at 10pm EST, Pete will be standing by heavens golden gate with a warm smile and wad of cash. As he stubs out his cigarette, hell greet each individual coming in with Tonight weve got 3/4 of The Ramones playing. Its 5 bucks. It goes to the band
