Woow!!! People always say God works in mysterious ways... I usually dont discuss my God, awards, accolades, etc. But tonight, I will share this... I have a bad habit of piling things on my plate; always saying yes to someone who needs assistance. Over the last several months, Ive contemplated cutting back on helping others in the community especially when it seems those you help wont help you, themselves or anyone else.... Additionally, it is exhausting going above and beyond at work, in the community, and having to help maintain home. I have dragged Isaiah to meetings, asked my wife to come home early so that I can attend some community function and in a lot of instances put myself last. Well, tonight I opened a letter from a Georgia State Senator that simply said Thank you for offering yourself for public service along with a quote. That simple sentence and quote brought a smile to my face, not to mention the envelope was addressed Honorable Mark Williams. Its good to know that someone recognizes and appreciates your efforts. I will still cut back so I can have more time for myself and my family, but I probably wont cut back as much as I had previously planned... #LearningToPickandChoose #Prioritize
