Word for today An answer, when mild, turns away rage, but a word causing pain makes anger to come up. Prov 15:1. Handling your anger calmly is not simply a matter of putting on a serene face by no means. So please what ever you do dont bottle up your anger and let it explode later. You have to pray for Jehovahs help to rid your heart of all hurtful feelings. Let Jehovahs spirit transform your mind and your heart to conform to his will. But you have to take practical steps. However if you find yourself in a tense situation where you sense anger is building up inside of you, it may be a very good thing for you to leave the room, house, the scene. This way you are giving your emotions time to settle and or cool off. And if the person with whom you are speaking with starts to get upset and angry, just be the bigger person and make an extra effort to speak graciously. Because a cutting sharp or aggressive remark would just add fuel to the fire, even if it is delivered in a gentle voice. So when youre in a situation that tries your self -control, be slow about speaking, and slow about wrath. And always pray for Jehovahs spirit to help you to say good things, not bad things. I love you all have a super Saturday.
