Words cannot even begin to describe how much I cant even deal with shit like this. Im so sick and tired if this terrible romantic depiction of Brasil as some exotic 3rd world country which has nothing to offer but naked women, football, and tribes. When I see stuff like this with soooo many people, specially brasilians, thinking this is a fit representation of our county and our heritage as just such a stereotypical tourist attraction it really kills me. Not only supporting an event which is going on despite clear opposition from the people which clearly based on selfish economic gain as we are submerged in corruption, an event which has taken funding which should have been put towards the bettering of our public health care, which screwed over the natives who are portrayed in such ridiculous manner in this shitty ass video. WTF. Honestly no other western country who hosted the world cup would be represented by people covered in freaking mud highlighting the too commonly accepted picture of Brasil as just one culturally homogeneous poverty naked football mess. I know this might seem like a bit of an over reaction over a silly video but it isnt just about that. A country which love does not even begin to describe my feeling for it yet people will turn a blind eye to crap like this which only emphasises inequality not only within Brasil but its status in relation to the world. Making oblivious what too many already wrongly think of Brasil. If we dont stop the small things were will change even start?!
