Working on planning routes this afternoon for Albania, Montenego and Croatia and familiarizing myself with these very strange names of places. I now know where Sarante (or Sarande or Sarrantes or Sarrandes...depending on source) and Cavtat and Kotor and Dubrovnik are located. How many people know where Stari Grad or Hvar or Mljet or Uvala Sunj or Ninski Zaljev or Zut or Kornat (Gujat) are located? I cannot even pronounce the names of these places! Much less instantly know which country they are in.
