Worth Thinking About it! HEY MISTER!, CAN YOU STILL PREACH OR YOU - TopicsExpress

Worth Thinking About it! HEY MISTER!, CAN YOU STILL PREACH OR YOU JUST WANT TO TALK? 2 Timothy 4:1-2 Thank God for the five or four fold ministry. Everyone called into ministry operates in one or more of this. The Holy Spirit alone gives grace for each ministry- for Ephesians 4:11, It was He who gave some to be (1) apostles, some to be (2) prophets, some to be (3) evangelists, and some to be (4) pastors and (5) teachers. Paul spoke of women whom he gave one of the most glorious names in the Bible- yoke-fellows Phil 4:3 (I wish I would be called that) and some others He challenged to do the work of an Evangelist. Everyone laboured in the Kingdom. Apostles sent with divine authority to speak and uncover the Kingdom truths. Prophets who declare Gods mind to men. Evangelist like Philip who proclaimed the good-news. Pastors and teachers who care for the Kingdom members and explain the truths of the Kingdom. Differing grace, different methods but only one message. Jesus Christ died, and was buried and rose again to save the lost and reconcile us with God. However, the singular strand that connects all of them together is that; THEY MUST PREACH THE GOSPEL- CHRIST DIED, CHRIST WAS BURIED AND CHRIST ROSE AGAIN. They must preach. The call to preach is a call for all and to all. They SHOULD preach- whoever you are, whatever you are called to do- YOU ARE ONLY SUCCESSFUL BY GODS STANDARD WHEN YOU PREACH(2 Tim 4:1). The call and the gifts was given so you can preach. Thank you for your prophecies and teachings and apostolic authority, but E.V. Hills declared boldly- JUST GO AND PREACH. Your gifts and call can make you popular or unpopular but You just preach the Gospel of the death, burial and resurrection. Just preach. Every message must find its full meaning in that cross. Every illustration must find its meaning in the cross. The message or Gospel of the cross reconciles the unsaved to God and connects believers to other believers. Yes- you belong to another religion or may even be a religious(or non) Christian and your confidence is the fact that you BELIEVE THERE IS GOD. You have done nothing extra-ordinary- the scriptures says; You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror(James 2:19). You have done nothing extra-ordinary- demons too can make the same confession. What places you ahead into Gods eternal truth is that you have sincerely accepted that you are a sinner and you cannot help yourself. And that Jesus Christ died bearing the punishment of your sins upon Himself. Now you accept Him as your Lord and saviour. No other name given by which we must be saved- no wonder none other promises salvation for all other religious leaders request you do rituals and prove your worthiness. Not Jesus Christ- He died while we were yet sinners and saved us when we were weak and condemned. Now in Him we are declared free and justified. That is what religion will not give. It promises everything good but requires certain rituals and works for us to be acceptable. God so love the world that He gave Jesus Christ to save us without asking us to do anything- He did it all. He paid it all. That is the message the five fold ministries have all been trying to declare. Dont bother your head with the titles or tags. A cathedral is just a place where chair(s) are kept but since it sounds wonderful, we only embellished our gathering spot to make it fanciful. It is just a mere shadow, the reality is the sacrifice of Christ Jesus. Never let any message pass through you without the cross. It isnt the prophetic declaration people need. It is not the new revelation the World needs- IT IS THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL OF THE DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION. THEREIN LIES THE POWER OF GOD UNTO SALVATION AND THIS SALVATION IS A SPRING, THE MORE THE CROSS IS PROCLAIMED THE MORE WE CAN DRAW FROM IT. Will you commit to declaring the Gospel of the cross. Clearly 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 defines the Gospel; Christ died, Christ was buried and Christ rose again. Shalom! 2 Timothy 4:1-2; I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching
