Would like to thank MCTA members Doug Abbatiello for photos (to be posted soon), Gary Semroc for trailing the field of runners in the cold on his bicycle, Janet Schilling from Carried Away Adventures in Greenville for being one of the first helpers on scene and the very LAST one to leave. Additional thanks to all the following non-MCTA members for their assistance: Dale Johnston and his wife and daughter & brother-in-law for setting up and manning the water stations with Melissa Evans. Dales friend Joe for keeping an eye on the last intersection on the course. Our friend Mr. Burns, father of Kevin Burns -- former Reynolds CC teammate in the late 80s -- watched another intersection for us. Last, and certainly not least, is Amy Book-Harenchar who brought her son Mitchell and niece Rachel to help watch over our Delaware Rd intersections. She also has already posted lots of pictures from her vantage point. To all the runners who chose to un-5K the day, YEAH! Thirteen of you are still on track to complete the full marathon distance!
