Wouldn’t it be far more likely that there would be detrimental health effects from living next to a noisy highway than near a wind turbine? And yet we do not require continual public health impact studies for the folks who live near the zillions highways that surround us. Could it be that we’ll do anything to avoid having renewable energy sources because that might threaten the fossil fuel industry? So we do studies on wind turbine noise, when clearly we rarely do studies on a more likely suspect for public health effects and noise.
