Wow! Its hard not to be a little emotional after such a crazy day. Great seminar with Professor Regis Lebre, and after I was privileged to see many of my teammates earn their blue belts for all their hard work and commitment. I loved seeing so many of the kids I coach at the Potranco gym getting their gray and yellow belts, as well as some stripes. These kids are amazing, and work so hard, and Im very proud of how well theyve been doing! There was a big surprise for me, too! I joined the ranks of some real killers, and was awarded my brown belt by Professor Rodrigo Pinheiro! Thank you, Professor Rodrigo, for all youve taught me, and all the opportunities youve given me. Thanks to all my RPBJJ teammates, who push me every day and always make it fun to come to training. Thank you to all the coaches and training partners that have shared the mats with me in the past; I wouldnt be here without you guys pushing me to this point. The biggest thank you of all to my wife, Tamara, and my sons, for always supporting and loving me; nursing me through injuries, and putting up with late nights and early mornings. I love this combat sport, and all the people its placed in my path. RPBJJ for life! OSS!
