Wow! Thank you uncle, whoever you are! This has always been playing on my mind, like, most days of the week, especially after taking a car loan myself, but Ive never really spoken it out. I asked my mom once, Whats the difference between Islamic and conventional banks if the interest rates are still the same? Why do Islamic banks offer loans with interest rates at all? and her answer was The difference is only in the akad. Which I DID NOT understand, of course. And what would happen if these so-called Islamic banks give the people back the interests? Anybody from banking care to explain?
