Writing a fun novel is very much like reading one - its hard to put down, you cant wait to see what happens next. Except it doesnt happen till you stroke it in. THEN you can find out what your characters do and how they interact and whether they like each other. This book of mine is in the genre Romance. But really, its about Old Love. As they say, write what you know! Its called Maggie On Her Own. Todays goal: twice as many steps as words on the page. Minimum 2000 words, real target would be 4000, just like yesterday. Maggie, Martin, Ernest, and even Frank, have already told me what theyre going to do today and theyre impatient for me to pull them through from their fictional world to ours, so Id best get at it! And leave time for that other world, the one some call real. Lots to do there, too.
