YAOHUSHUA - Khag Rosh hal-Shuanah Suamkha A Delightful New Year of Plentiful Harvests Celebration... Advisory: Hurried manner of Scripture reading profits nothing. Just like when body is deprived of its full nutrients when food is quickly swallowed without proper chewing, Scripture reading should be in a careful, slow-paced manner, meditating on each line of truth in a soul-searching manner. And with the help of the RÚKHA-YAOHÚSHUA. ========================= Y A O H U S H U A Your Word For Meditation And Application Today On the appointed day in early autumn, you are to celebrate a day of complete rest. All your work must stop on that day. You will call the people to a solemn congregation —the Celebration of Shofarim—with loud blares from a shofar (rams horn). - Lev. 23:24 Remember that the Day of Atonement is to be celebrated on the ninth day after the Celebration of Trumpets. On that day you must humble yourselves, gather for a solemn congregation, and present offerings to YÁOHU Ulhím by fire. - Lev. 23:27 Then on the Day of Atonement of the fiftieth year, blow the trumpets loud and long throughout the land. - Lev. 25:9 When you arrive in your own land and go to war against your enemies, you must sound the warning with these trumpets in order that YÁOHU Ulhím, your Eternal Creator, will remember you and rescue you from your enemies. Blow the trumpets in times of celebration, too, blowing them at your annual celebrations and at the beginning of each month to exult over your burnt offerings and peace offerings. The trumpets will remind YÁOHU Ulhím, your Eternal Creator, of His covenant with you. I am YÁOHU Ulhím, your Eternal Creator. - Numbers 10:9-10 The Celebration of Trumpets will be celebrated on the appointed day in early autumn each year. You must call a solemn congregation of all the people on that day, and no regular work may be done. - Numbers 29:1 When the people heard the sound of the rams horns, they hollered as loud as they could. Surprisingly, the walls of Yaricho collapsed, and the Yaosharulites charged directly into the city from every side and captured it. - Yaohúshua 6:20 So all Yaosharúl (Israel) brought up the Ark of YÁOHU Ulhíms covenant to Yaohúshua-oléym (Jerusalem) with shouts of delight, the blowing of horns and trumpets, the crashing of cymbals and loud playing on harps and lyres. - 1 Chron. 15:28 They used their shofarim (rams horns), cymbals and other musical implements to go with the songs of praise to YÁOHU Ulhím. And the sons of Yaoduthul were appointed as gatekeepers. - 1 Chron. 16:42 They hollered out their oath of loyalty to YÁOHU Ulhím with trumpets blaring and horns sounding! - 2 Chron. 15:14 They marched into Yaohúshua-oléym (Jerusalem) to the music of harps, lyres, and rams horns and proceeded to the Temple of YÁOHU Ulhím. - 2 Chron. 20:28 The Levites then took their places around the Temple with the musical implements of Dáoud, and the priests took their places with the trumpets. Then Kozoq-YÁOHU ordered that the burnt offering be placed on the altar. As the burnt offering was proffered, songs of praise to YÁOHU Ulhím were begun, with the trumpets blaring and other musical implements of Dáud, king of Yaosharúl. The entire congregation worshiped YÁOHU Ulhím while the singers sang and the rams horns blew, until all the burnt offerings were finished. - 2 Chron. 29:26-28 When you hear the loud sound of the shofar (rams horn), rush to wherever it is blaring. Then our YÁOHU Ulhím will fight for us! - Naokhem-YÁOHU (Nehemiah) 4:20 Blow the rams horn in Yaohúshua-oléym (Jerusalem)! Sound the warning on My holy mountain! Let everyone tremble in reverential fear because the day of YÁOHU UL is upon us. - Yao-Ul (Joel) 2:1 YÁOHU Ulhím will appear above His people; His arrows will fly like lightning! The Sovereign YÁOHU Ulhím will sound the rams horn; He will go out against His enemies like a whirlwind from the south desert. - Zochar-YÁOHU (Zech.) 9:14 YÁOHU Ulhím has gone up with a mighty shout. YÁOHU Ulhím has gone up with rams horns blaring. - Tehillim (Ps.) 47:5 Holler to YÁOHU Ulhím, all the earth; break out in praise and sing for delight! Sing your praise to YÁOHU Ulhím with the harp, with the harp and melody of songs, with trumpets and the sound of the rams horn. Make a delightful symphony before YÁOHU Ulhím, the King! - Tehillim (Ps.) 98:4-6 Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while hol-MEHUSHKHÁY (the Messiah), the second Adam, came from heaven. Every human being has an earthly body just like Adams, but our heavenly bodies will be just like hol-MEHUSHKHÁYs. Just like we are now like Adam, the man of the earth, so we will someday be like hol-MEHUSHKHÁY (the Messiah), the Man from heaven. What I am saying, dear brethren, is that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of YÁOHU UL. These perishable bodies of ours are not able to live forever. But let me tell you a wonderful secret YÁOHU UL has revealed to us. Not all of us will die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the TRUMPET (SHOFAR) sounds, all Yaohúshuahim who have died will be raised with transformed bodies. And then we who are yet living will be transformed in order that we will never die. For our perishable earthly bodies must be transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die. When this happens—when our perishable earthly bodies have been transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die—then at last the Scriptures will come true: Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. How we are grateful to YÁOHU UL, Who gives us the victory over sin and death through YAOHÚSHUA hol-MEHUSHKHÁY, our Molkhiúl (King). Therefore, my dear brethren, be tough and firm, always very eager about the work of our Molkhiúl, for you know that nothing you do for YÁOHU UL is ever useless. - 1 Corinthians 15:47-58 And now, brethren, I want you to know what will happen to the Yaohúshuahim who have died so you will not be full of sorrow like people who have no hope. For since we believe that YAOHÚSHUA died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when YAOHÚSHUA comes, YÁOHU UL will bring back with YAOHÚSHUA all the Yaohúshuahim (believers) who have died. I can tell you this directly from Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA: We who are yet living when our Molkhiúl returns will not rise to meet Him ahead of those who are in their graves. For our Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA Himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the RAMS HORN (SHOFAR) CALL of YÁOHU UL. First, all Yaohúshuahim who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are yet living and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet our Molkhiúl YAOHÚSHUA in the air and remain with Him forever. So comfort and encourage each other with these words. - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 =========================== • For Your Information — Rosh hal-Shúanah, 5775 (Feast of Trumpets) (Sunset September 24 to Sunset September 26, 2014) The YAOHÚ-di (Jewish) New Year, Rosh hal-Shúanah, begins in the fall on the first day of the seventh month (Tishri), beginning a period of ten days that is referred to as the Days of Awe, Days of Repentance, or High Holy Days. It culminates with Yoám Kappúr, the Day of Atonement (October 4, 2014). The month before, the scriptural sixth month of Elúl, is viewed as a time of preparation and introspection for this important period of renewal and repentance. Spiritually, emotionally and intellectually, one is to review the past year. The graves of relatives and teachers are visited to remember their contributions and encouragements to ones development. Traditionally, the shofár (a wind musical device made from a rams horn) is blown in many religious circles most of the month. Beginning the Shábbos night before Rosh hal-Shúanah, Selikós (penitential prayers) are said for at least four days. These are prayers for forgiveness and mercy. If Rosh hal-Shúanah begins on a Monday or Tuesday, these prayers are said a week before. During this period, one meditates on the attributes of the merciful YÁOHU Ulhím and ones duty to forgive others as YÁOHU Ulhím freely forgives us. The Holy Scriptures record that YÁOHU Ulhím said to Mehushúa, On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a solemn assembly commemorated with blasts of rams horns (shofarim). (Leviticus 23:24; cf. Numbers 29:1-6) This Feast of Trumpets goes unnamed, but may have been taken to be the beginning of the agricultural or economic year, since crops were reaped and sold around this time (the month Tishri comes from the root to begin). It was also on the first day of the seventh month that Ozór (Ezra) read the Túroh aloud from daybreak until noon to the assembled Yaosharulítes (Israelites) - (Naokhém-YÁOHU 8:1-3). The reference to Rosh hal-Shúanah - head of the year, (cf. Kozoqiúl 40:1) came to designate this important period and the corresponding celebration. Originally celebrated for one day, the two-day celebration arose out of a concern to safeguard against possible error as to precisely when the new moon actually appeared. And in the YAOHÚ-di (Jewish) lunar calender, tomorrow begins at sunset this night. The evening and the morning were the first day.... so days are reckoned from sunset to sunset. Special activities with High Holy Day prayers are held during the two days of Rosh hal-Shúanah, with intensive prayers being the main component. YÁOHU Ulhíms sovereignty as Judge over mankind and Ruler of the universe is affirmed. In fact, a tradition has developed that it is during Rosh hal-Shúanah that YÁOHU Ulhím opens the books of the deeds of men and women and on Yoám Kippur closes them once again. A common ritual is the blowing of the curved shofár, symbolic of mans bowing in submission to YÁOHU ULs will. Numbers 29:1 declares: It is a day for you to sound the rams horns, and the shofár is blown after the reading of the Túroh, and sometimes at the end of the whole devotional service. More than one hundred notes may be heard. During Rosh hal-Shúanah, it is the custom to send friends and relatives special wishes for a nice and delightful New Year. In Yaosharúl (Israel), gifts are given. For a YAOHÚ-di person to receive a Rosh hal-Shúanah greeting card from you would be a delight. This is not only a time for introspection, reconciliation and confronting the past, but is also a time of happiness and gladness! Fine meals are prepared and festivity abounds. Rosh hal-Shúanah is viewed as the anniversary of creation, and YÁOHU Ulhím is given hodayáo (thanks) for giving life, provisions and for granting each person to reach this day once again. YÁOHU Ulhím is recognized not only as Judge but also as the Compassionate One. New clothes are worn, and white is the color of the day. White head coverings for women are required for women in religious circles and in the homes. May you be inscribed and sealed in the Scroll of Life is the customary greeting. At the first evening meal, a piece of apple is dipped in honey after the blessing over the bread have been said. Blessed, YÁOHU Ulhím, are You, the King of the Universe, Who creates the fruit of the tree, is solemnly spoken before eating the apple. May it be Your will, YÁOHU our Ulhím and of our fathers, to renew for us a nice and delightful year, is said after eating the apple dipped in honey. On the second evening, it is customary to eat a new fruit not yet eaten during that time of year (pomegranates, apples). In addition, the bread prepared for these meals is circular in shape, symbolizing both a crown (the Kingship of YÁOHU Ulhím) and continual cycle of life. Khag Rosh hal-Shúanah Saméyah! (Delightful New Year Celebration!) is the usual greeting among YAOHÚ-dim during these holy days. Yaohúshuahím are encouraged to celebrate this scriptural holiday in order to please YÁOHU Ulhím and learn His celebratory cycle and its significance to the believers spiritual walk, but it is not a requirement for salvation. It is also pleasing to celebrate and be grateful to YÁOHU Ulhím and greet one another with - Khag Rosh hal-Shúanah Suamkhá to you all! Haolul-YÁOHU UL Kaokám, our wisest Creator Eternal! OL SHUAM YAOHÚSHUA hol-MEHUSHKHÁY, am-nám. P. S. Please meditate (mutter), ruminate (to chew) and ponder upon His Words now and regularly by the RÚKHA-YAOHÚSHUA (Sacred Spirit) - in order that You may obey them.
