YES THE UNREACHED CAN BE REACHED!! I could not resist to repost this after two years! It is the denominational systems and religious methods which is hurdle number one! Did you know that: What missiologists consider to be the unreached is already engaged without their knowledge! Here is the challenge; the indigenous missionaries who are reaching out to these people are not at all known by the major and rich mission boards! They dont even qualify to earn any support or help from such boards, because they are not members to their official denominations. In Uganda: our indigenous people are already reaching out to Kalamoja and evangelical churches are being planted. However, the kind of support they need to do evangelism and discipleship effectively, is what they dont have! And those who own such support belong to denominations, whose names are not even known to the indigenous serving people! Time is now; to change some of our denominational systems and methods, in order to affect both evangelism and discipleship on time. Let us visit the so called unreached and support those who are already there. They may not be perfect but we can help to correct what is wrong and to promote what is positive. But is it possible to go, leaving our cherished denominations behind!! Do we have any new system which would reach out and even support, those who are reaching the unreached without our denominational identity? If not; should we consider those areas continuously unreached until our denominations reach there! By the way: who should reach these areas first, the gospel or our denominations? Friends: What the indigenous missionaries need to reach out quickly, is far less compared to what you may think of! Things like: Bibles, a bicycle, etc..... They live there, eat the local food, speak more than three to five languages etc........
