YET ANOTHER DEATH ON LONDONS BUILDING SITESYesterday 14th April 2014, Dainius Rupsys from Lithuania aged 33 died after a floor collapse at the former US naval building in Grosvenor Square, At least one other person has been treated for minor injuries.A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that the man fell after a floor in the six-storey building gave way. A spokesman from the London Fire Brigade said a mini-digger on the second floor fell to the floor below, as did the two workmen. This is an appalling situation when this is the forth death in London in just a few weeks. After the deaths in Kings Cross, Stratford and Holborn. We today on 15th April are in solidarity with those involved in the 25 years anniversary events over the 95 Workers who were killed atthe Hillsborough football stadium. We also do not want to go back to the situation when in 1988 over 157 construction workers also lost their lives in what was totally preventable and unnecessary workplace deaths.Between 12.00 and 1pm this Thursday 17th April 2014 we will be holding a silent vigil at the site in Grosvenor Square W1A 2LQ (off Oxford St). We urge all those who support our demands for these deaths to end to join us.Our deepest condolences go to his family and workmates.ATTEND THE PROTESTEND DEATHS ON BUILDING SITESCONSTRUCTION SAFETY CAMPAIGN07747795954
