Yall aint gone believe this!! I havent been this pissed to go off (Green style) on someone in quite a while! This woman inboxed me with the following message (This is the EXACT message other than me cutting out info that might identify the person. The errors are HERS - that is important): Vicki, I need your help, I work wi a group of (xxxxxxx) students at (xxxxxxx). Are you available to come have Refreshments with us, Sunday 10th, 4 p.m. (You can bring two guest, Last about 1 hr.) (xxx address xxx) Is lost, call (999.999.9999) say find them I SWEAR that was the message, errors and all. I replied THIS and nothing else: No. Thanks. Then SHE replied: Thanks you since you did not find out what you are saying no to? We are having refreshments on Sunday At 4:00 p.m. Thanks for your support. Who can you refer me to that I can work with to make others lives better......working with kids at CASS & WSU? Then I flipped the EFF out!! I had SEVEN points for her. My response: First of all, I said NO because I am BUSY on that day and time so it didnt matter WHAT you were talking about. Second, being facetious will get you no where. To say thanks when I did nothing is pointless. Third, if you REALLY expect a busy person with a life to come somewhere you need to tell them WHY! I dont go anywhere just for some damn refreshments. Fourth, you must not really know me anyway because I dont teach at WSU. Fifth, I question/doubt the professionalism of anyone with so many typos and misspellings in any missive that is trying to pass itself off as professional. Thanks you? Seriously!? Sixth, I am OFFENDED by your weak attempt to imply that I do not have my students best interest at heart. Seventh, I would *never* refer you to anyone based on all of the aforementioned reasons. Girl, BYE!! Now - for the *briefest* second, I thought, maybe that was harsh. THEN I thought NOPE. The only *slightly* valuable things that could come out of my phenomenal waste of time responding to her would be her (possibly/hopefully) learning something and this FB post. -_______-
