Yay! A groovy new book shop opened on the Upper West Side! Finally, an opening and not a closing. Its called Book Culture and is on Columbus Ave. bet. 81st & 82nd. If youre in the area stop in. Aside from a good selection of books it also has all kinds of interesting things in case you need a gift for someone or for yourself. Was there today and bought a book - Journey to the End of the Night by Louis-Ferdinand Celine. A real misanthrope, but a keen observer of humanity. I guess observing humanity can cause you to become a misanthrope. Len, you out there? Whats your take on him? This new book is next right after I finish Yokohama Threeway. Then Ill get to the other 20 books piled up next to my bed including Death of the Black Haired Girl (thank you, Len!). Speaking of misanthropes.....there are so many good people out there and I know many of them, but the bad ones - well, theyre going down. Good riddance 2014! Out with the old bad, in with the new good. 2015 is going to be awesome! It already is and its only a few days old! Heres to a HEALTHY, HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! xoxo
