Year 7 Students support local foodbank Last week, Mrs Blacker, Head of Year 7 ran a competition to see which tutor group could collect the most items for the Bristol North West Foodbank. Although all tutor groups stepped up to the mark, Miss Baker’s team in 7D managed a staggering 75 items! Lilly Hannan managed to bring over 12 items including tinned food, biscuits and pasta into school! Her bag must have been heavy that day!! Volunteers at the foodbank were incredibly impressed and grateful of the generosity of the students and their families. The Bristol North West Foodbank rely on food donations to feed local people in crisis. They are currently short of tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned rice pudding, instant mash, and UHT milk. If you would like to donate, you can find out more information on their website, bristolnwfoodbank.org.uk 7D will receive a treat of chocolates at breaktime from Mrs Blacker. However, we would like to extend our thanks to all students and their parents/carers who donated so generously.
