Years ago we took care of a friend who was dying due to AIDS related complications.She was a beautiful and strong Trans Woman. Her hair was falling out in clumps as she layed unaware and dying. She would moan from pain until we gave her morphine and lorazapam. After 8 days she died and was in no more pain. I still remember her crying out...but i refuse to let that define my memory of her...i will remember her off the wall stories .... Love and miss you sis.
