Yes Sandra when we were in the world without God we had no way of obeying him for mankind was flesh and the fleshly mind could not obey the laws of God and not matter what they did. Know to those who are born of God, thru the Faith in Jesus, Yeshua the holy one of Israel, as Apostle John says Keeps the Commandments of God, for we are born again in the spirit, the same obedient spirit that was in Christ Jesus is in us. 1 John 5:1-5 Whoever believes that Jesus (Yeshua, a Jew from the tribe of Judah) is the (Messiah, anointed King) Christ is born of (Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) God, and everyone who loves (Father Yahweh) Him who begot also loves him (Yeshua, the Son of Yahweh) who is begotten of (Father Yahweh) Him. By this we know that we love the children of (Yahweh) God, when we love (Yahweh) God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of (Yahweh) God, that we keep His commandments. And His (Father Yahweh) commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of (Father Yahweh) God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith (Yehsua, born of Yahweh overcame the world in the flesh). Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son (begotten) of (His Father and Our Father Yahweh) God?
