Yes Zahir Zahir Al-hashmi Yes, I stood without feeling anything except clapping. I stood feeling that I was the only one who claps, yet the applause you got was from everywhere in that theatre. I would never ever think to ignore my graduation day to go for a one hour role to act and leave. However, it was not an hour; it was a life. I would never ever think to care about 100 attendees of my show instead of 1000s of people watching me graduating. However, they were not 100, they were millions who knew and will know your sacrifice and determination. You preferred a stage to act not a stage to walk on and leave in less than 20 seconds. You have sent a message to every artist that we can be reborn when we want to and you were born on stage that night. Yes Zahir, You taught us a lesson that some moments we can ignore everything around us to reach our goals. You showed us that a personal aim is less significant than an aim set by a team. Yes Zahir, I have told your story to an English man, and he kept saying: What a decision! What a decision! yes. What a decision! Zahir. You made every actor feel that they were not born yet and they need years to get the courage to stand on a stage to say I am an actor. Yes Zahir, Natural! “If poetry comes not as naturally as the leaves to a tree it had better not come at all.” I take this quote where ever I find natural performers and in that moments I said if acting comes not naturally as the leaves to a tree it had better not come at all; this what John Keats taught me.
