Yesterday afternoon, six volunteers from throughout Northern Virginia responded to a multi-alarm fire in an apartment building in Lorton, VA. Tragically, this fire took the life of one resident and displaced 16 others. The Red Cross set up a reception center and provided dinner last night and continues to meet with families to provide food, clothing, lodging, and recovery items to over 20 individuals. Our thoughts are with all of those affected.
