Yesterday at the gym, I put forth a lot more effort than usual. Our younger son was on the treadmill next to me and noticed the sweat pouring off of me. He looked at me and quietly said, Good job, Mommy. Tonight I asked our older son about a disappointment hed had. He said on a scale of one to ten it was about a six. Hearing this our younger son made a small, involuntary sympathetic sound, stepped away from his game and went to his brother to comfort him. Asked about it later he said, This is what Im good at right now. I comfort and encourage people, so thats what Im going to do. Sweet child.
