Yesterday, at work in an Orange Farm coal yard. Orange Farms working horses used to be in a good condition - since the forced removal of working horses from Soweto a while back, more horses have moved to the area. They now have a long way to travel from Orange Farms to Soweto to work, and horses previously in a good condition are suffering as a result. Other animal welfare organisations were only too happy to have horses removed from Soweto and even assisted in the forced removal. Short-sighted and unfortunate. The only ones who have suffered are the horses and their owners. Ideally, we need a full time inspector in O Farms.
