Yesterday, the Lord gave me a wonderful gift. This little girl attended our Vacation Bible School last summer. During the last week of VBS, she accepted Christ as her Savior. Her mother called me yesterday to say: "Pastor Sealy, I just want you to know that Tahlia got saved last year at your VBS. As a result of her getting saved, I got saved. We are now in church. We both attend prayer, bible study, bible school and services every week. I have answered my call to be an intercessor, although I tried to run from it for a while. I put her in a Christian school last September and she is doing so well. She was on the praise dance team for a while, but I have her sitting and listening to the Word right now. She went on to rave about the VBS and the Spirit-filled and discerning teachers we had last year. She ended her call by saying " I know you get discouraged, but just keep doing the will of God. If only one person comes to Christ, you are doing what you are supposed to be doing." What a gift from God in the midst of a trying day! He surely knows how to be the lifter of your head!!
