Yesterday was my brothers Larry birthdate June 18, he would have been 57. it been four years and i miss him still but i have alot of good memories me and him especially when we were growing up I was always his partner in crime, yesterday I spend my day thinking about the things we use to do. like one day I remember me and him going into the attic and with a match and he caught it on fire and ask for me to get some water, al I saw was be big ole bottle of beautmont grease on the toilet . i grab it and give it to him and the thing went up and smoke. Girl you big dummy you trying to kill us. but that all i saw. but what i remember the most is the day i learn about self determination. along time ago you would have to knock on doors to collect your money the more money you collected the more you got payed. Larry had this one customer who never payed him that day we went to his house and they were at the table get ready to play cards. Larry knock on the door and as for his money. the man told him he didnt have it come back next week . We went on and collect al of his money accept that one guy, Larry said i am going back and get my money let go see if he won any money in that card game they was playing. so i tag along. Larry knock on the door and somebody told him to come in. the man said didnt i tell your little ass to come back next week. Larrry said i was just checking to see how you were doing with the card game and if you had my money this week. that man pull out a gun on my brother and said something like little --------, if you dont get the hell out of here i will blow your head off. now you still want your money. Larry said yeah i would like my money very much, but if you dont have it today i will come back another day. the other guys bust out laughing. that little dude is serious about his money pay the boy. so the customer did plus the other guys gave him a tips, I like your heart little man. He said i just wanted to get paid thank you very much here your receipt come on Deb let go home. We neaver spoke to much about that and I never went collecting again with him. I have some good memory and when i think of some of the suff i just smile. it help alot. Miss you brother.
