Yesterday was the most beautiful day here (since I have arrived) I spent a a few hours at the beach as it wasnt as windy and the sky was clear and blue - went in the water a lot. Just gorgeous. Yes, got a bit burnt so today - no beach. Love it though as everything is outdoor/indoor so you always feel like you are outside - well I guess you are. But you can be in the shade so it is great. And HOT! The town square (which I will have to take a picture of) has wifi so I was there working for some of the afternoon today. It is really incredible to be able to work anywhere - the world has sure changed!! But also - when internet is not working - it is so frustrating. Last night in the hotel it wasnt. Now this is no 5 star hotel and I think because of it is made of such thick cement (it is older) that the internet connection is not so great as many places here it is no problem. The nicer hotels - ya, they would be fine. I carry around an MP3 player with Spanish lessons on it but I have to say I am not listening as much as I should as I also am working. I am using my Spanish for sure and could not imagine not knowing any. This is a smaller city so people speak a bit of English (some none), but I like that and I really try my best to speak as much Spanish as I can even if they can speak English. They apologize for not speaking better English - And they do WAY better than most tourists speak Spanish. I tell them - I am sorry for not speaking as well as I should - they are doing GREAT! The people here are so wonderful. Truly great people and so nice. So here are a few pics of yesterday and maybe a day or two ago also. Geeze - can you tell I love the beach??
