Yesterday we lost the storage tent irretrievably. For $100 we could get another cheap one, but I doubt the high winds of this winter are over, as weve already lost a tree this year too. Instead of replacing it, were going to try to stash our stuff. The furniture is out on Vashon already, thanks to dear friends who were willing to share some storage space, as we were already headed there with the truck to retrieve wood. That worked out well as we were without power for 11 hours yesterday too, and were fed a lovely hot meal during our visit. ;-) Now to find homes for the bikes. 2-3 will fit in the rotax shed. that leaves at least one we need to put somewhere else. Plus a rack full of stuff, though we might be able to just tarp the rack in place. Not how we planned to spend the weekend. Right now we need to unload the retrieved wood and get out to Redmond where we promised to help my ex move a bed and corner cabinet today.
