Yesterday while walking the dogs was the windiest I think Ive ever personally experienced. Visibility went down, branches and leaves were swirling high into the air, we had to shout to be heard, and pebbles were shooting into our ankles painfully enough to elicit several ouches from us. At a few points, it actually became scary. When we got home, a rather large branch in our backyard had broken off. I know thats nothing compared to other states, but that makes it all the more remarkable to me.
