Yesterdays Sam Lyons Band show at the top of State Street was fun regardless of the inferior PA equipment and inexperienced techs. One would expect a professional system for such a high profile gig. Next time call Lonya, Bear or Intellasound and have the MMI trainees shadow them. Thoughts of the Punch Bros - who travel with their own monitor system and in most cases mix themselves from stage by only sending the house system a single stereo signal. They record every show and analyze it on the road the next day so they can tweak the performance and mix. Being in complete control of your art is the goal so the audience has the best experience possible!
